台灣: 第一天 and more...

Lol this reminds me of Chinese class and our chapter on transportation.

The funnn has arrived! My travelling companions, Celeste, Brian, Brian's dad and I, have arrived safely in Taiwan. The timing was quite fortunate because there is an incoming typhoon this week and we were able to land and get to our residence without complications.

^ and that's about the extent of my blog post for the first day of Asia...and I have thus procrastinated until now...the beginning of my 3rd week in Asia. I knew blogging would be not of challenge...sigh. So I have decided to consolidate what would have been 7 days worth of posts into a photo blog with captions heh...cop out. :p

On our way to 平溪區 to float lanterns! The train was pretty crowded because it was good weather on a weekend. Yay for road trips!

I waited 2 years for this! I finally get to see the floating lanterns!

Day 7 (August 26): This was our last day in Taiwan. Celeste and I had a very early plane to catch. Thank you Uncle Lam & Louis for getting up so early in the morning to drop us off at the airport! Gah I miss Taiwan!

Phew...I finally updated the majority of my Taiwan trip! More video clips to come in another post...and commentary about cultural language interpretations of animals, proverbs, and other things...lol it is quite befuddling and entertaining...stay posted! :)
