Move-in Week: IKEA + Hong Kongers

All the new friends we made in 1 day! :')
After a quick bite to eat, we all got on the MTR to Causeway Bay...IKEA here we come!
First time MTR riders whoooo!
So cramped...
After walking for a super long time...WE FOUND IT!
LOL...
WE'RE GOING TO FINALLY HAVE BEDSHEETS AND PILLOWS!
After spending hours deciding what to buy for our living quarters...we were famished! Hilde had some friends that were local to Hong Kong that invited us to have dinner with them. We ate at a legit Hong Kong banquet type of restaurant.

Cheers to new friendships!
Causeway Bay always has awesome public art.
And there's always room for dessert...as you will see in my future blogs...Celeste and I made a habit of always have room for dessert...聰嫂私房甜品 became a fan favorite...especially for Celeste hahaha. It's traditional Hong Kong desserts such as: 龍眼椰果冰 / 榴槤水晶珠 / 芒果奶昔雙皮奶 / 蜜瓜豆腐花 / 龍眼冰 (Longan coconut ice / crystal beads durian / mango milkshake Shuangpinai / Melon bean curd / longan ice)

Walking like a boss.
MEHEHE SO MUCH HAPPY (Super thankful for Jennifer & Flora, they helped us with getting SIM cards today)
AND THEN THE BEST PART OF THE NIGHT...THIS GIRL...JORE, MY TWIN, came into my life. We were seriously Made.To.Be. #dorks4lyfe

Our first conversation:
Jaimie: What's your name?
Jore: Jorune
Jaimie: HUH?
Jore: Jore!
Jaimie: Yoooo...ray?
Jore: YEP!
Jaimie: Soooo, where are you from?
Jore: Lithuania
Jaimie: What.
Jore: Lithuania!
Jaimie: ...Lith huh what?
Jore: *repeats*
Jaimie: Lol...uhhh what are the countries nearby? ^.^
Jore: Estonia, Latvia, Belarus?
Jaimie: .......lol
Jore: Poland!
Jaimie: AHHHH! POLAND!
(And I'm a Geography major at HKU...whaatttaaa joke.)
Jore: Want to see the medicine I brought?
Jaimie: Okay!
Jore: *BUSTS OUT THE LIQUOR SHE SMUGGLED ONTO THE PLANE*
Jaimie: (I'm not judging...but OH BOY SHE'S GONNA BE MY ROOMMATE)
And our adventure begins...
<3 I love her to death <3

GOOD MORNING! ROOMIES MATCHING <3
Time for lunch at a 茶餐廳 nearby school! We have a two new additions to our group...Jore and Tatjana~ It would be their first time trying authentic Hong Kong Chinese food. It was so funny because when our European friends or Australian friends tried foods, they would always describe it as: "Ooooh, it is nice!" I never noticed Americans ever using the word nice to describe the taste of food.

Zot zot!
IKEA ROUND 2! Taking them to get their goods!

lol...I like taking pictures of kids...

Can't leave without having some IKEA ice cream!
Lol...what has technology done to us?!
Apparently this is quite popular in Europe.
INTRODUCING ASIAN VERSION OF CREPES!
Finally settled down...one more week before school officially starts...EEK!

{I will insert of photo of my furnished humble abode...once I find the photo...}
